i am way into sauteeing it over low heat with a ton of garlic and a little oil/butter/margarine. it will take a while, but it will be delicious. also, i know they’re pretentious, but kale chips are kind of delicious? i don’t have a recipe to link you to but if you just coat them with olive oil + salt + maybe garlic salt + maybe TAHINI and put them in a 300 degree oven for like 15 or 20 minutes, they are so good. sosogood.
no, i have never used one ever, i like using counters and bowls and my kitchenaid stand mixer and also hands
possibly my fave is sourdough (i use this recipe: http://www.wildyeastblog.com/2007/07/08/my-new-favorite-sourdough/ ) but i like experimenting with different kinds (spelt, whole wheat, etc). and i like to have at least one loaf of basic whole wheat sandwich bread around. sometimes i make multigrain bread (i like rose levy berenbaum’s), and sometimes i get TOTALLY CRAZY and make bagels or pita or something.
1. yes
2. chickpeas i think, then lentils after that?
3. i find i have had slightly more success with “i don’t eat meat” than “i’m a vegetarian,” possibly because it sounds less like a religion/sexual orientation
bento bento bento! i own three now and have never looked back
i tried to post submission guidelines but this theme is not super conducive to doing so. i think good things to submit are: recipes and/or photos you’ve made, recipes you wanna try, and/or aspirational food photos/blog posts. links are fine. what do you think? sound good? what’s your favorite kind of waffle
